computermaus (2023)
A computer mouse, also known simply as a „mouse,“ is an input device used by
computers to control the movement of the
cursor on a screen. It typically contains
one or more buttons which can be clicked
to select or activate items. It can also have
additional functions such as scrolling or
navigating through digital spaces.
Mice are usually connected to a computer
through a wired connection, such as a USB
port. There are many different types of
computer mice, including ergonomic designs, gaming mice with additional buttons
and features, and trackballs or touchpads
which can be used in place of a traditional
mouse.
These small automatons offer an opportunity to explore a contradiction within the
use of language to describe the world of
information we navigate in.
